OSD Library
The OSD Library operates as a school library for students from preschool to age 22. The library also serves as a center on deafness for information about deafness, deaf education, sign language, and deaf culture. The library is used by our students, teachers, deaf education professionals, parents, and the general public.
Materials can be sent by mail if the borrower lives 25 miles outside of Columbus. A copy of the borrower’s driver’s license is kept on file. OSD will send the item, and the borrower is responsible for paying the return postage. The OSD library and its patrons must follow all state and federal guidelines prohibiting unauthorized reproduction of any OSD library materials.
The library is open for evening programs on Thursdays. Check the monthly recreation department calendar for dates and times of events.
